Oak bark was once used for tanning leather; today it's used for decoration.

The bark comes from traditionally sustainable forestry practices (lasting approximately 300 years). Reforestation is carried out in an ecologically sound manner through the protection of the harvested area and natural regeneration. We utilize short transport routes to minimize our environmental impact; this means that every point in every stage of production is within walking distance.
