We are a community of sustainably living users of wood stoves and are committed to timely reforestation.
Our most important rule is to maintain a healthy forest.
This type of coppice management has been a tradition in our "Hochwald" region, one of the most beautiful regions in Rhineland-Palatinate, for many generations. Our ancestors used the forests not only for firewood. Much more important was the grazing of livestock and the production of oak bark for tanneries. They also earned extra income by making wooden baskets and brooms.
